Today for Keeping Ourselves Safe we had to do some decision making. The situation was the babysitter touched you in an inappropriate way. We had to do some options to get out of it and on the options we had to put a positive or negative. This is my options
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 7 and in 2021 I will be a year 8. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

School Trip
On Friday we went to Sumner beach to Surf. We left at 9.00 on Friday morning and hopped on the School bus. The trip was about 45 minutes and it was boring I almost fell asleep. When we got to Sumner beach there were a group of young adults waiting for us. They taught us how to stay safe and how to surf. We got into our wet suits and they stung my thighs because there was sand in them. Mrs Mcg's class went first and they did boogie boarding while we were waiting we made sandcastles. When it was our turn to surf we lied down on the surf boards and minnie taught us how to stand up. We had to do Chicken,(put your hands next to your ribs) Seal,(push up on our arms) Cat,(where we put our knees up to our hands) Foot(where we put our foot between our hands) and Twist. (where we twisted our feet and stood up). We went into the water and the waves were huge and I stood up at least 6 or 7 times. After surfing we did boogie boarding (there was no rules just to have fun) and it was awesome I got nailed by waves and went underwater a few times and almost drowned but it was fun. I would go back to surf not boogie board. Here are some pictures of me.
Understanding Different Perspectives. Zones of Regulation
This week for Health and P.E we did Zones of Regulation. We had to fill out a form about different zones of regulation. We had to do all of them, there is yellow zone which is silly or scared. Red zone which is out of control and terrified, Green zone which is calm and happy and Blue zone which is sad or sick. Here is some of the ones that I did.
