Time Estamation

Today for Strand Maths we did a time estimation sheet. We had to estimate how long it would take us to writ 1-100, Read a picture book and 30 star jumps. It took me a while to write 1-100 and it was a bit hard. I thought it would take me 3 minutes to write 1-100 but it took me 2.42. I thought it would take me 1.00 to read a picture book but it took me 41 seconds. I thought it would take me 50 seconds to do 30 star jumps but it took me 20 seconds.  Most of my estimates were under 20 seconds away. I could improve my writing from 1-100 by practicing. my closest estimate was 18 seconds away. Here is my estimates.

What do I value?

Today for homeroom time we made a circles activity about what we value. In the middle circle we had to write what is important to me. In the second circle we had to write what the things that are important to us include. In the outside circle we had to write what we value. The values that I chose are Health, Sleep, Family, Friends, Sport/Exercise, Animals/Pets, Playing With Friends and Hugs.

Statistics

For homeroom time we have been doing Statistics. We had to do a graph about who had a brother or sister. First we did a tally chart to see how many people had brothers then we did sisters and then we did only children. There were 18 people who had brothers and 17 people who had sisters only 3 people were an only child. This is my graph. How many brothers or sisters do you have?
