Interview With My Hero

Today in Hurumanu 1 we had to interview somebody that we look up to. I interviewed my hero Chris Wood (Not literally but just questions I want to ask him) I asked him 10 questions and they were pretty good questions If I do say so myself. Here is my interview with Chris Wood.

STOMP

Today in Music we have been working on creating a beat using object around the classroom. We created a sound recording of ours and it is pretty good. The people in my group were Aliyah/Pheonix, Ken, Jed, And Reuben so we worked really well together. We finished our STOMP in 1 period (1 Hour) and it's pretty good for 1 hour of work. The objects we used are an Abacus, a big cardboard roll, a glue stick, a book, and 2 jandals.  You can't add the sound file to a blog post so I put it on a slideshow.

Whakanuia ngā Ahurea

Today in Wananga we have been working on a Slide deck called Whakanuia ngā Ahurea. It's to do with our new Kete that we have been doing. A Kete is a type of Art subject and we do 1 per term. Last year we did one Called Business and Enterprise which is when we had to create a product and then sell it. This Kete is called "Celebrating Cultures" which is basically when we have to look at different cultures and then tell what is the difference between our culture and their culture.

Touch Rugby PE

For the past few sessions, we have been learning how to play Touch and doing some drills for Touch. We learnt the rules for Touch and we did some passing, catching, and kicking drills. I improved a lot in my kicking and catching but I have always been good at passing. I also have improved my Touch skills and I think I will play Touch next season.
