Week 11 PE

 This Term for PE we have done a lot of different sports and activities. Some of the sports we have done are Softball, Touch, Volleyball, Long Jump, High Jump, Discus, Shotput, and Sprints. I have learnt some new skills for Volleyball but most of the other sports I already knew how to play quite well.  My favourite sport was probably Volleyball or Long Jump. I'm not very good at Volleyball so that was quite fun to get better at. In future PE sessions, I would like to do football and cricket because those are my favourite sports.

Local Heros In Christchurch Mosque Attacks

Today in Hurumanu 1 we have been learning and researching about local heroes. The heroes I chose are Carl Pomare and Nigel Gardener. They helped during the Christchurch Mosque Attacks in 2019. The rest of the information is in the DLO.
