SLJ 2019 Week 1 Day 1 Explores

Activity 3 Scaling New Heights

 In 1953 Edmund Hillary and his guide Tenzing Norgay, were the first people to reach the summit of Mount Everest.

We had to choose a charity to write about I chose Ronald Mcdonald House/RMHC.

Ronald Mcdonald House/ RMHC support parents with kids in hospital. And they pay for the accomadation that you need. In 2018 RMCH supported 4,300 families. That is a lot of people.

    Awesome choice, Ronald McDonald House is a wonderful organisation like you say over 4,300 families were supported in 2018. Great!

    Thanks for the comment Gabe. For christmas we are going to Dunedin to my Grandma's.

    I do not know anybody that have stayed at the Ronald McDonald house.

    I will keep that in mind to use colour in my posts.
