How to detect Phishing
Today for Cyber Smart we learnt about Phishing. Phishing is trying to take other peoples personal information and passwords. There are many different ways to stay safe from Phishing. Like on secure websites the URL will have https and a green lock symbol. And if its not safe it will have a triangle with a ! inside it. In some emails instead of saying your name eg. Hi Dylan! Richard here. But sometimes it can be fake by saying Dear Friend. And Wikapedia can be fake too because anybody can write on Wikapedia. We looked at a fake website about a Tree Octopus. and there were blurry pictures and for some reason a Blue Ringed Octopus was climbing a tree so I instantly knew it was fake. Here is the Tree Octopus Link. See if you can tell if its fake
