Activity 2 Influences
YouTube is a video sharing website, where people can watch, create, share and comment on videos.
YouTube was designed in 2005 by three men- Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Jawed Karim.
For this activity imagine that you had the chance to create your own YouTube channel. What would it be about? What kinds of videos would you create and post?
I would post gaming videos and tutorials to help everyone complete different games.
I would also post game reviews and shout outs to anyone to subscribed.
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 7 and in 2021 I will be a year 8. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Kia ora Dylan,
ReplyDeleteGreat work on completing another Summer Learning Journey activity - keep up the good work. Don’t forget to comment back to blog commenters as well as on others SLJ blog posts to gain extra points.
That's a good idea for a YouTube channel. Do you enjoy gaming? What is your favourite game?
I can't say I have played a video game in a very long time. The last one I probably played was Crash Bandicoot on playstation. Have you heard of it before?
Until next time, happy blogging :)
Emma
Thanks for commenting Emma,
ReplyDeleteI love to game. I game all of the time. My mum brought me a Play station 4 for my birthday this year.
I used to play Crash Bandicoot on the Playstation 2 a very long time ago, me and my Dad used to play it everyday.
Anyway thanks for commenting
Blog you later!
Hi Dylan!
ReplyDeleteEmma told me about the great idea you had for a YouTube channel and I wanted to come read about it myself. Gaming tutorials and reviews are quite popular at the moment, aren't they? I'm sure you'd get lots of subscribers.
While I'm here I just wanted to let you know that there's a little under a week and a half left before the Summer Learning Journey programme finishes and we'd love to see some more posts from you in that time. Remember, the more activities you do, the more points you could earn! :)
I hope you're having a wonderful holiday and we hope to see you online again soon.
Bye for now,
Mikey :)
