My Pepeha

 Kia ora Everyone!

Welcome to my first post of 2021. I've been a bit lazy with posting so I decided to post my Pepeha. A Pepeha is basically an introduction to yourself in Maori. The order for the Pepeha is:

A Formal Greeting,

Your Mountain (Maunga),

Your River (Awa),

Where you're from (Ahau),

Where you live now,

Your School (Kura),

Your Family (Whanau),

Your Father (Matua),

Your Mother (Whaea),

Your Siblings,

Your Grandfather (Koro),

Your Grandmother (Kuia),

Your Self (Ingoa),

A Formal Closing Message.

Take a Look at My Pepeha.

    1. Hi Mr Sutton!

Thank you for commenting. I have a family tree of everyone until my Great Great Great Great Great Grandparents. But I'm not very sure what to write for great grandparents.

      Dylan :)

  4. Wananei Dylan, your pepeha looks amazing, I enjoyed seeing the photos of your family.
My challenge to you is to practice saying your pepeha, create a screencastify and post it on your blog.
There are so many opportunities to share your pepeha with others, it is a fantastic thing to be able to do and an amazing skill to add to your kete. Good luck on your journey.
