Today in "Working From Home" I read a story about Antarctica. Once you had finished reading the story you had to create a "Thinglink" about the Main Character. My story didn't have the main character so I created a "Thinglink" about a "Hāgglund". A Hāgglund is a Swedish Vehicle built in 1974 used for military purposes. But once scientists started coming to Antarctica, they used it for traveling long distances. This Hāgglund was very fun to make and research. Here is my Hāgglund. If you have any comments or questions please comment below. P.S You can also have a ride in a Hāgglund at the international Antarctic center. There is an obstacle course built for the Hāgglund. Here is a photo of me in it.
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 7 and in 2021 I will be a year 8. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
I am really pleased that you overcame the challenges that came your way with Thinglink and were able to post it on your blog. I like how you have included a photo of yourself and an illustration that you drew yourself as the background. Riding in a Haglund looks like loads of fun. I wonder how you would need to modify the Haglund design so that it could be used in other situations such as deserts or swamps?
ReplyDeleteLove your drawing. You also got to be the co-pilot that day.
