Tapa Cloth Charcoal-ing
Today in "Hurumanu 4 Poetic Arts" we finally finished our tapa cloth. We went over the faded lines with Charcoal sticks. I like the fact that it makes it that little bit bolder but next time I would choose black paper instead of brown. I know this sounds weird but the Charcoal actually stands out more on the black paper. The Charcoal doesn't really stand out as much as I would hope on the brown, but you can kind of see it. The colour paper I chose is; brown paper with a lighter brown crayon to draw the designs.

Dylan, that looks really awesome. You have put a lot of work into your art
ReplyDeleteThis is an incredible piece of work. I can see what you mean about the brown paper but I do like the softer tones. Well done. from Gran.
