Business and Enterprise 2020

Yesterday we had the Business and Enterprise 2020 market day. It's when everyone creates some time of thing they can sell and try to make some money. Our group was called Freshake (It's pronounced Fresh ake). We made vanilla milkshakes with added chocolate syrup for $0.50. We sold over 40 milkshakes for 3 dollars each. In total, we made exactly $160, but our expenses cost us $20.68 so that makes out profit $139.32.

Before the market day, we had to do a lot of planning. We had to figure out what we were doing, how we were doing it, we had to make a poster, and also apply for finance so we could purchase what we needed. Our poster took the longest to make but we also had to print one which was pretty cheap only $0.20 so that didn't change the expenses much.

We had to borrow a blender from our teacher because we needed a blender to blend the milk and icecream. Aparrently our milkshakes tasted pretty good but the only thing we put in there were Milk and Vanilla Icecream. So it could have been the right amount of milk and icecream.

Overall I'm really pleased with the outcome and how much money we made. I did not expect to make that much money, I thought we would make about $50. But I am really thankful for my teammates for helping each other and getting good ratings from our customers.

  1. Dylan well done to your group. Most companies are happy to make 50% profit. You exceeded that and your customers were still happy. Great job team.
