The Sneaglegator
Today in "Working From Home" I read a description about "The Sneaglegator" It's a mystical creature that is part Eagle, part Alligator, and part Snake. They have scales like Alligators wings like an Eagle and a body like a Snake. The adult males have a darker green color and they like to hide up high in the treetops and down low on the forest floor. You can usually find them in rainforests but very few human beings have seen them. They are now critically endangered and there are only 63 left in the entire world. They are one of the very few creatures that hunt at night time. They are also nocturnal. I read the description and we had to make a google drawing, drawing, etc. About what you think the Sneaglegator would look like. Here is my image of the Sneaglegator hope you like it!

I would hate to meet one of these in the dark. Great imagination there Dylan :)
ReplyDeleteI think I would scream and run really fast if I saw one of these flying or slithering around in my garden! Your illustration of this mystical creature is really creative, I think you have portrayed what it might look like very well, the scales add an extra layer of creepiness! I can see that their main habitat is rainforests, I am wondering what their diet might consist of? Do you think that they might live in the bush in New Zealand? what special adaption might they need in order to do that?
