Digital Task Board Lockdown

 Hi all!

This is my first post in lockdown since we've been in lockdown. Today I did a task about rice. It's a website with a quiz and for every question you get right you donate 1 grain of rice to a country in poverty. eg. Kenya. I did it for 10 minutes and earned someone 913 grains of rice. That's basically a full meal of rice! Here is the link to the website if you want to do it :D.

  1. Kia ora Dylan, well done on helping to provide enough rice for a meal for someone, that's really kind and fun at the same time. Food is so plentiful for most people in New Zealand, we don't always remember that there are counties in the world who don't have access to some of the things we take for granted. If you had to give up one thing what would it be?

    1. Hi Whaea.
If I had to give up one thing it would probably be my bed. Thousands of people around New Zealand suffer from homelessness and they dont have a bed so they have to sleep on the floor. So I would give up my bed for a homeless person to have.

I don't know if I could give up my bed, it's so cosy but I could give up some other furniture and food as I have some to spare.

  2. Thank you for sharing this Dylan. I donated 980 granins today. I have posted it on my work page for everyone else to help out as well. I couldn't give up my bed but I would give up my shoes to help keep their feet warmer. I hate wearing shoes.
